PureAthleticism Baseball Camps have served the Magnolia, Queen Anne and Ballard communities of Seattle, WA since the summer of 1996. In that time, ballplayers from as far away as Austin, Texas have returned each year to develop their playing skills as well as a greater appreciation for the challenges of competition, the spirit of teamwork, and a lasting love of the game.
PureAthleticism camps are based on the belief that participation in athletics can be a significant character-forming experience for every child. These camps are designed to help young athletes develop the ability to focus on their own skill development, while also learning how to interact effectively and assertively with others to set and accomplish shared goals. PureAthleticism camps offer quality instruction in the essential fundamentals of baseball while emphasizing character development for each participant.
Thank you to all of the families who have supported us in the past, and welcome to all of the families who will be joining us in the future.
The 7-10 year-old “Fundamentals” sessions focus on the physical mechanics of baseball and basic situational strategies and logic. Players are taught proper throwing mechanics, and essential hitting, fielding and base-running mechanics and strategies on 60 ft. bases. PureAthleticism instructors emphasize fun and sportsmanship at all times.
