Welcome to PureAthleticism’s 2010 Baseball Camp season. PureAthleticism Baseball Camps offer a unique playing experience by creating a fun and focused learning environment that stresses sportsmanship, leadership, and good character on and off the field.
The coaching staff is carefully selected based on their ability to teach and demonstrate these qualities as well as the basic and advanced skills of baseball. By utilizing small group instruction, Coach Jeff Mullen and his staff ensure that campers receive extensive one-on-one help with the fundamentals of baseball.
PureAthleticism offers a series of one-week sessions for ages 7-11 and ages 12-16 throughout the summer. We believe it is beneficial for children to attend more than one session in order to maximize skill development and retention. We strive to treat our summer sessions as a progressive movement toward more advanced play, while always keeping in mind the experience level and development needs of each individual child we work with.
Established in 1996 by Jeff Mullen, PureAthleticism is more than just another summer sports camp, it is a philosophy of drawn from Coach Mullen’s extensive experience playing and coaching in CYO and Little League, Seattle Prep High School, and most recently in the Magnolia Baseball Club organization. Jeff grew up playing baseball in Magnolia and went on to play at Shoreline C.C. and Willamette University. The 2010 season will be Jeff’s 13th as a baseball coach at Seattle Prep HS.
